It was my daughter’s 15th birthday yesterday.  We celebrated with the IMAX 3-D version of the latest Harry Potter movie (not the best one in the series but looking forward to the next ones), a visit to Olive Garden and a cake from Whole Foods.

Here are a few photos from the mini foodfest we had this weekend at our friends’ – Danny and Celia’s – house.  Celia made ribs, carne asada (marinated meat), beans, homemade salsa and potato salad while I prepared pancit (noodle dish), siopao (chicken-filled buns) and lumpia (Filipino spring rolls).  It was an international foodfest. =)

~ Happy Birthday, Jacob!

I can’t believe my baby is 11 years old now.  Where did all the time go?  We celebrated twice this week–a small Baskin Robbins ice cream cake earlier in the week and a large Cheesecake Factory strawberry cheesecake yesterday with the grandparents.  Yum on both counts!
