~ Halloween Candy Cube

Alrighty, back to crafting for me.  No rest for the truly excited!  (hee hee).  I’m still in disbelief that I actually made the BIA DT.  So–here is my first attempt at making a cube using the Bind-it-All.  Hmmm…you know what I learned yesterday?  Don’t craft and watch Heroes at the same time.  My ribbon job wasn’t perfect so I made the sides of the cube kind of wonky.  Oh well, it adds to the funky charm of the box.  I’m going to fill it with candy and have it at my desk at work the whole month of October.  I’ll try making a cube again sometime, this time in the peace and quiet of a turned-off television. =)

The BIA DT will post monthly projects on the Zutter/BIA sites starting in November.  October will feature some of the projects we submitted in our DT applications.  If there is something you would like me to attempt for a November or December BIA project, leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do to accommodate. =)  Please bookmark the Zutter/BIA sites and visit us often!  They are listed in the post below this one and in my linkies in the righthand margin of my blog.  I hope you visit us monthly to see what we’ve made.

Stuff:  4″x4″ acrylic – Zutter/BIA; paper collection and embellishments – Little Yellow Bicycle; ribbon – Stampin’ Up!

P.S. – My brother is home now from his cancer surgery.  Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers.  I am sure with your kind thoughts my brother will recover more quickly.  He still has a bit to go, as he will undergo radiation to zap the bits of cancer that the surgeon was unable to remove last week.  I’ll keep you posted.
