Here is my latest Bind-it-All project, just a spur-of-the moment “I need to make something” project. I’ll eventually put photos in the book but for now, here it is. =) The inside pages are tabbed acrylic while the covers are very thick chipboard. I pulled the flower off an affordable bunch I purchased at Michaels.

This weekend I made a set of six cards for a co-worker as part of a going away present. She expressed interest in the color orange at the last card class I taught at work so there is a bit of orange in both the cards and the envelopes. I also made a small pockets and tags Bind-it-All minibook that I’ll show a sneak peek of below. Please come back another day to see a full post on the minibook sometime next month or so. =)

In all of the excitement prepping for the Handmade Holidays Blog Hop, I completely forgot to post my latest Bind-it-All OZZ project. So here we go, a farewell book for my good friend, Donna. This book held well-wishes for her as a keepsake to take to her next job.
I’ve been a bit remiss in posting my last Bind-it-All project! Here you go —

All, just got around to making calendar JPEGs for 2012. Unlike prior years, these graphics are free of U.S. Federal Holidays. Feel free to use for your own calendar projects. Would appreciate it if you leave me a message if you use my JPEGs or link to this post to share with others. I will be working on Bind-it-All calendar gifts very soon and will post them here when I’m done.

All, I was indisposed at the local emergency room the evening I was supposed to pick my blog winner. Thankfully, Nan Partuzo chose the lucky one for me and posted to the Bind-it-All blog. See a copy of the post below. Congratulations, Beth in NE PA! Please email your info to nan@binditall.com.

Beth, please email me at nan@binditall.com with your shipping address so we can get your goodies to you! Congrats!
What are your scrapping plans for 2011? I intend to scrap my photos more often in 2011. Last year I scrapped specific occasions but this year I think I’ll try to group events by month and scrap them together in one book using my trusty Bind-it-All, of course! Leave me a comment to let me know what you’re going to try to do differently with your projects this year for a chance to be picked randomly for a Zutter supply pack of “o-wires, covers, Cover-Alls and surprises.“
For today’s blog hop, I’m sharing a new Team Jacob-themed project I made for the Twilight Convention in Arlington, April 2011. This project was really a snap to do as I kept the embellishment to a very bare minimum and the Cover-All gave the project a more bookish-feel. The intention is to provide a place for the autographs my daughter will collect from the convention stars. Right now the inside is empty but it will fill up with pictures and memories from the event. See list of supplies at the bottom of this post.

October marks the beginning of a great season in Northern VA. The leaves change color, the weather is a little cooler and there are so many autumn activities to do. Here are a couple of Bind-it-All books I made for my hubby’s cousins’ families. They were a big hit! I was so inspired by our visit with the cousins that I plan to make each family calendar gifts for the holidays.

How many times have you seen Eclipse? As of yesterday, I’ve seen it 19 times. Yes, a Twi-addict, for sure. Here are my latest Twi projects — 16 month calendars I made as consolation prizes for a contest I hosted on Facebook and a Team Jacob necklace.
I really like how the necklace charm came out. I was tentative at first as I used a variety of items that I hadn’t used together before (deep-set charm, Tim Holtz acrylic pieces, Glossy Accents and Jolee’s heat-set crystals).

I guess the one good thing about being snowed-in is that you have plenty of time to watch movies, cook, bake and make crafts. My daughter has been doing the baking while I’ve been cooking and crafting.
Here is a project that uses an origami frame as a wall hanging instead of binding together into a book. I used an untraditional scrapbooking item for the project — comic book backing boards — as the base of my project. Why not? They’re light chipboard and acid-free.
If you’d like the instructions on how to make the origami frame, go to the bottom of this post. Please let me know if you use the instructions and make a project of your own.

Stuff: Zutter – 1/2″ white o-wire; My Mind’s Eye – patterned paper, adhesive chipboard shapes, stickers; Stampin’ Up – grosgrain ribbon; We R Memory Keepers – extra large eyelets; Dymo – labels; light chipboard, satin ribbon
Enough of the snow and dreariness already! We’re expecting our second snowstorm today, as if there wasn’t already tons of snow in the D.C. area. I’ll be sure to take more pictures tonight/tomorrow.
So, here is my first real “Spring” project — all bright colors and flowers. Instead of binding the chipboard tag shapes all in the same direction, I flipped every other tag. Though this added extra design interest, it made binding a little more tricky.
Stuff: Zutter – 1″ red o-wire; Basic Grey – patterned paper, adhesive chipboard shapes; Creative Imaginations – felt flowers; Doodlebug – jewels; white chipboard, satin ribbon
